Natalia's lessons are very motivating! She praised me and stretched out, so I was cheered up every time in the class.
Also, when I had a professional consultation about work, I really appreciate that she consulted with a Brazilian acquaintance. Natalia is a very kind and wonderful person, so I'm sure you'll fall in love with Brazil even if you're in Japan!

Mr.Y from Tokyo
I started taking lessons when my husband was stationed in Brazil.
I was not familiar with Portuguese, so I was worried if I would be able to learn it.
In the beginning, Natalia-sensei's lessons used texts written in Japanese, but gradually I learned things written only in Portuguese and conversation texts made by the teacher, so I naturally learned Portuguese. I feel like I would like to have more time to talk.
At the beginning of the lesson, the opening talk was just a series of words, but little by little, I was able to say short sentences. Especially, the hand-made textbook was very useful because it contains phrases that are frequently used in daily life and how Brazilians actually speak.
At the same time, there was an explanation of Brazilian culture and customs, so I understood the meaning of the words well.
Natalia-sensei gave us a lot of homework, so it was a bit difficult at times, but when we checked our answers, she brightly and loudly said "Perfeito".
Please experience Natalia Sensei's lessons that are praised and stretched.

I chose Skype lessons on Saturdays because I wasn't sure if I would always be able to attend lessons on weekdays due to my work schedule. Whether it's hot or cold, even if it rains, I can have lessons at home.
After each week's lesson, I always review the new words that I have learned, and the 'Today's Key Points' emailed to me by my teacher is very useful.
Free talk with the teacher is also one of the pleasures. When listening to a teacher's explanation of Brazil, or exchanging opinions about Japan with a teacher who has lived in Japan for a long time, the talk sometimes ends up getting longer.
I've never had any problems with Skype lessons, except once when Skype couldn't connect for some reason. Rather, I would recommend the Online lesson for those who find it difficult to go to class, or for those who are busy with work.
Mr. YS, Tokyo
When I was stationed in Brazil, I asked for lessons for two months, focusing on daily conversation.
This is the reason why I decided to go here and the good points which I realized.
-
It is not only for business. Every lesson is tailored to each student's purpose.
-
Since it is a one-by-one lesson system, you can attend lessons at your own pace.
-
You will acquire conversation skills that are difficult to learn by yourself, and you will be taught local ways of speaking that are not found in textbooks.
-
Every time I receive an e-mail summarizing the lesson. This follow-up service is really great.
-
They kindly gave me real information about Brazil.
In addition to the lessons, it was very helpful that they taught me many things that I use in Brazil, as well as things that I should bring from Japan.
And above all, the teacher's personality is very nice and I look forward to going to the lesson.
A very nice classroom! !

I used to work in a Portuguese-speaking country and was looking for a teacher who would give me private lessons to maintain my language skills.
I used to take lessons in other classrooms, but just having conversations didn't lead to improving my vocabulary and reading comprehension...
Also, I was busy with work and didn't have time to find materials in the field I was interested in using in my lessons. .
They prepared teaching materials according to my learning objectives and fields of interest, and it was a meaningful time even though I was busy. I think it's really hard to prepare teaching materials for each student, but thank you for always finding interesting articles.
I also received detailed guidance on pronunciation, and my accent completely changed from Pol Pol to Bra Pol (laughs).
After hearing stories about life and customs in Brazil from the teacher, my interest broadened to the point that I would like to work in Brazil someday.
I highly recommend the custom-made private lesson to anyone who wants to learn Portuguese seriously.
IM (group lesson)
I attended a group lesson for the first time. People who like Portuguese, people who are interested in or related to Brazil, people who like soccer, etc., gathered for various purposes. First of all, the teacher leads the self-introduction in simple Portuguese!
Up until now, I've often taken private lessons, so it was refreshing to hear someone other than myself speak Portuguese. There were many realizations such as "There is a different way to say the similar meanings". Following the teacher's text, each student created example sentences using simple phrases and received guidance on how to express themselves in daily use Portuguese. It's cool to use simple expressions like real Portuguese!! In addition, I enjoyed a Brazilian snack handmade by the teacher. The class room lesson creates a friendly atmosphere. After the self introduction, the lesson divided into beginners and intermediate.
Learning from textbooks and talking to each other about our thoughts in Portuguese was stressful, but it was also a time to deepen our knowledge. The classroom lesson, however, made me feel fun rather than studying. Whether you are not good at Portuguese yet or want to learn more, you can enjoy the classroom lesson. Why don't you participate once?
Mr. HN (group lesson)
If you have even a little interest in Portuguese, I think group lesson is a great to star leaning. Anyone can enjoy learning Portuguese regardless of age or level. There is a wide variety of people who participate, and you can get to know a lot of people while attending the class. Of course, it's okay to participate occasionally if you can join from time to time.
Ms. Hoshi (Natalia) carefully teaches each student according to their level each time, so there is absolutely no embarrassment even if you make a mistake or don't understand. You can improve your conversational skills by speaking more and more without fear of making mistakes. I like Brazilian music, and I wanted to know the meaning of the lyrics. I am very grateful for the interactive lessons . On top of that, I don't think there is any other place where you can take such fulfilling lessons for the price of one coin. We appreciate.

Reason for participation
Since I came to Brazil, I started to go to the dentist because I had a toothache.
So, I was told that I had periodontal disease, and treatment began, and I became keenly aware of how poorly my brushing had been.
I participated this seminar to learn about brushing my teeth.
Also, I have the impression that many Japanese people go to the dentist in Brazil because the cost of dental treatment is cheaper than in Japan.
I wanted to know about the important treatment methods and techniques in Brazil, so I participated this time.
-
What I was glad to participate in and what I learned
I learned a lot about interdental brushes and floss. I used to use an interdental brush after brushing my teeth, but Dr. ISHII recommends flossing because interdental brushing can damage the gums, and it is better to floss before brushing. I was surprised to hear that.
He also explained to me why I should do that, so I was able to understand. Currently I floss before brushing my teeth.
I also learned that the primary purpose of orthodontics and implants is not to improve appearance, but to improve the bite. As for whitening, I was told that the gel-type of whitening done at home is dangerous to the body, so I thought it would be safer to go to a dentist.
-
Things that should be improved
I was very satisfied with the seminar, which included light meals and tea, and plenty of time for questions.
Many participants, including myself, had the questions like which toothpaste should we use in Brazil? Dr. ISHII answered verbally, but it would be easier to understand if you put your photo and name on the slide, and I don't think it's necessary to bother Dr. Hoshi with an inquiry email at a later date.

Reason for participation (free description)
After coming to Brazil, I visited a dentist, but I could not get satisfactory treatment.
I wondered that "different countries have different treatment policies?" I decided to participate because I wanted to learn about dental care in Brazil.
-
What I was glad to participate in and what I learned (free description)
It was very meaningful that I was able to learn many things about dental care in Brazil, such as the system, instruments and materials.
-
Matters and contents that should be further enhanced (free description)
Before coming to Brazil, you may have dental check up in Japan, but I thought it would be great if many expatriates visiting Brazil could participate in this kind of seminar. Dental care in Brazil is much cheaper than Japan, but it might be risky to jump into the local dentists without adequate knowledge.
